What Makes Good Prams?

A pram (also known as a stroller or a pushchair) is the most popular form of transportation for babies and toddlers. A good pram is a combination of safety, comfort and style that makes walking enjoyable for the entire family.

You want your child to be comfortable when you're out with them. There are prams that ensure that your baby isn't shivering any sensations.

Newborns need to lay flat as often as they can in order to promote development and increase the oxygen level in their lungs, so it is essential that all prams allow this. Some models allow a completely flat surface with a fully-reclinable carrycots, while others have the seat that can recline to a flat position.

The Graco Near2Me comes with the latter and it's brilliant at that as our parent tester Jaya found when she tested it with her son who was 10 months old. She loved the fact that she could raise and lower her child with the touch of a button, keeping him in sight and still maintain eye contact and a closeness.

It's a great pram for those who want to nip around town without hassle since the frame is a great size for manoeuvring, while the puncture-proof tyres allow you to move it off the road and into rough terrain. It's also a great choice if you're planning on having a second child in the future because it easily converts from a single pushchair to a twin or double pram and pushchair pushchair.
